Chris was born January 7, 1950 in Goodrich, Michigan to the late Fred and Virginia Muto. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Imlay City.
Chris sold agricultural equipment for over 40 years in the area – starting at Weiss Equipment in Frankenmuth, then Alderman Equipment in Lennon, and finally John & Leroy Tomlinson Equipment in Marlette. He enjoyed tractors, hunkering down for winter, and watching his favorite movie and sharing lines from – Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Chris was always up for a good home cooked meal – Spaghetti, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Chris is survived by his children: Michelle (Aaron) Duckert, Chris Jr. (Emily) Muto, siblings: Donald (Janice) Muto, Thomas (Sue) Muto, 5 grandchildren: Jacob, Caleb, Mason, Kenzie, Eve, and dear friend Brenda Turner. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Antoinette, siblings: Fred Daniel Muto, Jean Kirk, and Virginia Muto.
A Mass of Celebration will be held 12:00 PM on Friday, April 22, 2022 at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Davison. Father Dieudonne Ntakarutmana celebrant. Family and Friends may visit 3:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Jansen Family Funeral Home – Columbiaville. Interment Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
