The Davison Chamber of Commerce has invited our community to participate in its Second Annual Community Blanket Making Event, organized in partnership with the non-profit organization Fleece & Thank-You on Saturday, November 11.
The purpose of this event is to make fleece tie blankets that will be donated to children currently in the hospital. The Chamber is actively raising funds to purchase the necessary fleece material, and invites individuals from the community to volunteer their time, free of cost, to help make these blankets. Last year, volunteers successfully made 110 blankets.
In order to cover the cost of purchasing and shipping the blankets to the children, The Chamber is also accepting donations. The suggested donation amount is $30, and interested individuals can contribute through the below website.
