KITA, Dorothy Christine – Of Grand Blanc, formerly of Burton, age 95, died Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, Father Andrew Czajkowski officiating.
Visitation 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Kita will be at the church from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the Memorial Mass.
Dorothy was born in Flint, Michigan on February 3, 1926, the daughter of the late John and Christine (Alexander) Weisgerber.
Surviving are children, Donald (Terry) Kita, David (Cindy) Kita, Dottie (Dave Joseph) Boone, Danita (Tom) Riker and Deloris (John) Ervin; grandchildren, Brian, Patrick, Tracy, Kristen, Don, Michael, Michele, Lisa, Eric, Dana and Rachel; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Stuckert; cousins, Emily Slivinski and Dorothy Williams; dear friend, Marty Antell and many friends of Abbey Park.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Kita; son-in-law, Donald Boone; siblings, Edward Weisgerber, Paul Weisgerber, Ruth Stuckert, Elaine Hays and Kathy Swick.
