Morrison, Elizabeth Anne (Liz), age 69, of Grand Blanc, Michigan died Thursday, September 14, 2023. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 PM Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St. Davison, Rev. Fr. Tony Smela celebrant. Cremation will take place after Mass. Visitation will be 4-8 PM on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to Mass on Tuesday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Elizabeth was born in Flint, MI on July 19, 1954. She was the oldest daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Elizabeth (James) Morrison and loved her 8 brothers and sisters dearly. Liz was a devoted, selfless, and fun-loving mother and grandmother. Her children and granddaughters were the center of her world. She was their anchor and safe haven. “Sleepovers at Grandma’s” with the Cousin Crew were cherished memories. She was a hard worker, retiring from the State of Michigan as an Information Technology Analyst. Liz was proud of her Irish heritage and loved to research the family ancestry. Liz leaves a legacy of unconditional love for her family, unwavering faith, and the blessing of making memories. Her resilience, courage, and sense of humor are an inspiration. She always counted her blessings even during the most challenging times.
Left to cherish Elizabeth’s memory are her children, Jamie (Rob) Reitz, David (Amanda) Beaver, and Laura (Drew) Vargo. Six grandchildren; Kayla and Janelle Reitz, Reese, Avery, and Quinn Vargo, and Kennedy Beaver. Brothers and Sisters, John (Kate) Morrison, Mary Jeanne (Jim) DuBuc, Trish Morrison, Joe (Colleen) Morrison, Colleen (Jerry) Tomczak, and Helen (Mike) Alfaro. Sister-in-Law, Diane Morrison. Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Mary Morrison, son Lance, brothers, Jerry and Jim, and sister-in-law, Beth Morrison.
