Michael Francis Wuest of Davison age 84, died Friday March 24, 2023, surrounded by his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday April 15, 2023 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison, Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Davison Cemetery. Family will receive visitors one hour prior to services at the church.
Mike was born in Grand Blanc Michigan on June 23, 1938 the son of the late Norbert and Margaret (Wurmlinger) Wuest and had resided in Davison for many years. He was joined in marriage to Linda Taylor on November 17, 1962 and she preceded him in death on January 30, 2006. Answering the call of his country Michael proudly served in the US Navy. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Davison, and had been employed by General Motors Buick Division retiring in 1984.
Surviving are children: Sharon (Andy) Anstett, Douglas Wuest, Gordon Wuest, and son-in-law Dan Hudson. He also leaves his loving seven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Surviving siblings; Margaret Story, Ann Martin, Mary Catherine (Peter) Michaud, and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter Paula Hudson, brother Norbert Wuest, and brother-in-laws, Calvin Story and Robert Martin.
