Circulation Policy

All are welcome to browse and read in the library. All borrowers must fill out the library Registration form.

Books and audio cassettes:
Adults may check out two (2) books and one (1) audio cassette. There is a limit of six (6) books per family. These may be borrowed for up to three (3) weeks.

Magazines, videos:
May be borrowed for one (1) week. A patron may check out one (1) at a time. There is a limit of two (2) per family.

Reference books DO NOT circulate and are intended for IN-LIBRARY use only although many of the reference titles can also be found in the circulating collection. In these cases, the call numbers will be the same.

If no reserve has been placed on an item, renewals can be made by bringing the book back to the library and checking it out again.

Returns can be made at the reception desk of the St. John Family Center. It is not necessary to bring the book up to the Library itself.

PLEASE NOTE – Because our collection is small, we appreciate your cooperation in returning library materials in a timely manner. This helps us to better serve the people of St. John Parish.
