Kathleen was born in Flint, MI on October 7, 1942, daughter of the late Clayton and Helen (Hill) Pemberton. On July 8, 1961, she married the love of her life, Gerald L. Dipzinski, and together they built a life centered on love, faith, and adventure. Gerald preceded her in death on July 27, 2018, and Kathleen carried his memory with her always. Kathleen was a longtime member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where her faith guided her throughout her life. She retired from NBD Bank in Flint, MI, after many years of dedicated service, and took pride in her strong work ethic and professionalism. An avid traveler, Kathleen cherished the years she and Gerald spent journeying together in a caravan of RVs, making memories on the open road. She also loved camping, being outdoors, and tending to her flower garden, where her care and patience were reflected in every bloom. Kathleen was a graduate of Davison High School, Class of 1960, and went on to earn an Associate’s Degree from Baker Business School-accomplishments she valued and that helped shape her career and independence.
Above all, Kathleen will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her devotion to family and faith, and the quiet grace with which she lived her life. Her legacy lives on in the memories she created and the love she shared.
