Seasons of Hope is a Scripture-based support group for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one and are grieving that loss. It could be a spouse, a parent, a child, a friend, or anyone you have lost and are grieving that loss. The loss may be recent or even from many years ago.
It offers hope and healing in a safe environment with other people who are also mourning and provides new ways of coping with your grief. We are not professionals on the team but are willing to share our journey through these seasons of grief and hope.
These sessions help explore mourning through scripture, prayer, reflection and faith sharing. It is said that when we share our joy, it is doubled. When we share our sorrow, it is halved.
Please know that you are not required to speak at these sessions if that is not comfortable for you. You will be surprised how sharing your stories within these groups will take you from tears to laughter. You will surely meet some new friends to share your journey with.
If any of these are true, please join our next session:
– Have you been trying to figure out the meaning of your grief?
– Do you want to get on with life but haven’t been able to?
– Have you been looking for someone to share your journey of sorrow?
– Are you open to new ways of coping with your grief?
– Do you find comfort in the teaching of Christ?
You are always welcome to bring a friend, neighbor or a relative with you to these sessions.
