Jackie was born in Sacramento, CA on April 16, 1932, daughter of the late Frederick and Lenora (Smith) Frates. She was a proud graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Flint, MI, and a devoted member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where her faith was a quiet but steady source of strength throughout her life. Jackie found great joy in the simple and beautiful things-tending to her flowers and gardens, watching birds, and expressing her creativity through arts and crafts. Above all else, she cherished time spent with her family, creating memories filled with love, laughter, and warmth. Constantly by her side was her faithful companion, Ozzy, whose presence brought her comfort and companionship and who truly held a special place in her heart. Jackie will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her gentle soul, loving heart, and the quiet grace with which she lived her life.
Jackie is survived by her 2 loving children, LeRoy “Lee” A. Osborne, Jr. and Tammy (Charles) Haddad; 2 grandchildren, Cyreen Haddad and Jonathan Haddad; Eric Wiltse (who was like a son to Jackie); her faithful companion of 13 years, Ozzy; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick Frates and Lenora Fletcher; husband, LeRoy A. Osborne, Sr.; son, Kerry Osborne and brother, Billy Fletcher.
The family would like to extend their deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to Jackie’s devoted friend, Robin Webb. Robin’s compassion, kindness, and unwavering dedication were an immeasurable comfort to our family and meant the world to our mom. Her loving care, support, and friendship during this time will always be remembered and sincerely appreciated.
The family would also like to thank The Medical Team Hospice, especially Ashley, Jennifer, Jenna, Kim, and Emily, for their compassionate, professional, and attentive care. Their kindness and support provided comfort and peace during a difficult time and will never be forgotten.
