Aileen Vroman

VROMAN, Aileen (Wangler) – of Burton, age 90, passed away on August 27, 2025, at The Oaks at Woodfield. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1 PM on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 6340 Roberta Street, Burton, Michigan 48509; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrating. Burial of cremated remains will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Memorial Mass on Monday at the church, beginning at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Epilepsy Foundation, in Aileen’s memory.

Aileen was born in West Branch, Michigan on June 13, 1935, the daughter of the late Ivan and Dorothy (Walters) Wangler. She married the love of her life, Albert L. Vroman, on December 28, 1961, and they shared many wonderful years together until his passing on May 19, 2019. Aileen had a deep love for the outdoors. She and Albert enjoyed countless adventures together – fishing, snowmobiling, camping, and spending time “Up North” at their cabin, where some of their happiest memories were made.

Aileen is survived by her loving son, Ron (Sue) Vroman; grandchildren, Alan (Cary) Vroman and Rachel Vroman; siblings, Carl (Marge) Wangler, Bobby (Denise) Wangler, Carly (the late Zade) Wilson and Ruth (the late Jerry) Nelson; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Alan Vroman and siblings: Jane, Donna, Marge, and Mickey.
