POSEY, Dennis P. – of Burton, age 84, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Henry Ford-Genesys Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon Tuesday January 27, 2026 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski celebrant. Interment will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM Tuesday until the time of Mass.
Dennis was born in Port Huron, MI on March 26, 1941, son of the late Alfred Joseph and Ethel Irene (Frizzle) Posey. He married Thelma Anne Ramsay in 1962. She preceded him in death on October 20, 2011. Dennis loved water activities, fishing, playing cards and water skiing. He worked at General Motors as an electrician retiring in 2003. Dennis loved his Roman Catholic Faith.
Dennis is survived by children, Lisa (David) Redfield, Linda Posey, and Dennis Alfred Posey; grandchildren, Melissa Redfield and Joshua Posey; great grandchildren, Wyatt Hemstrought and Abbrielle Redfield, Everly Posey and Levi Posey; many other loving family members and friends.
