NORRIS, Kenneth – of Goodrich, age 82, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at the LaVigne Home for Compassionate Care in Burton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 6 PM Thursday, January 29, 2026 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Cremation will take place following the Mass. The family will welcome visitors one hour prior until the time of the Mass on Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the LaVigne Home for Compassionate Care, in Ken’s memory.
Ken was born in Detroit, MI on March 11, 1943, son of the late Donald and Frances Norris. He married the love of his life, Nancy, and together they celebrated 58 incredible years. Together they had two daughters, Cynthia and Jennifer.
Ken started life as a child selling newspapers on the streets of Detroit, MI. After graduating high school, he was a carpenter. With this experience, combined with his outgoing personality, he became very successful in sales of building materials. This led to a national sales manager position for building products.
Ken loved to spend time with his family and traveling with his wife, Nancy. During his spare time, he liked to do projects around the house and golf. Ken was very active in the Lake Orion Knights of Columbus. In July 2011, he became the Grand Knight for the Fr. Thomas R. Carey Council #4764.
Ken is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; daughters, Cynthia (Delmar) Childs and Jennifer (Petra) Grivins; grandchildren, Zachary Childs, Jessica Childs, John Grivins and Janus Grivins; and many other loving family members and friends.
