Daniel William “Face” Goyette of Davison, age 66, died Monday December 2, 2024 at University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor. Honoring his wishes Cremation has taken place. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Thursday December 12, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison, Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, Celebrant. Family will receive visitors one hour prior to services at the church. Those desiring may make contributions in Dan’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Dan was born in Flint Michigan on August 14, 1958 the son of J. Donald and Amelia (Campbell) Goyette and has resided in the Davison area most of his life, spending the last several years in Au Gres. Dan loved spending time on the water, in the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to play softball and spent many years on Reid’s Druggers with his dad as the coach. He had a passion for working with his hands and spent his entire life repairing anything with an engine. He was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1977 where he was known for his antics and voted class clown. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Davison and a member of the Moose Lodge of Englewood Florida. Dan owned and operated Goyette Auto Repair for many years until his retirement.
He leaves to cherish his memory children: Casey Tozer, Jacob (fiancée Amanda) Goyette, Abigail Carranza, and his loving grandchildren: Hyla, Raul, Natalia, Gage, and Revan. He also leaves his soul mate Natalie Cline, and father J. Don and wife Marilyn Goyette. His surviving siblings: Gary Morin, Laurie Goyette, Joseph Goyette, Leesa Martin, David Goyette, Robin Goyette, Forrest Goyette, numerous extended family and friends.
