ROSS, Mary Lynn – of Davison, age 74, passed away on July 13, 2024. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423 at 1 PM on Monday, July 22, 2024; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Private interment will take place in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 1-7 PM on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison MI 48423 and one hour prior to the Mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Mary was born in Flint on October 24, 1949, daughter of late William and Mary (Howd) Ross, the oldest of five children. Mary worked for General Motors for more than 30 years before retiring. She was a member of the fraternal order of Eagles in Davison. Mary enjoyed spending time in northern Michigan. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing the lottery and Club Keno. Mary loved a good party, where she often was found on the dance floor. Her greatest love was spending time with her beloved family.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Jamie Ross, Chrystal Pray; grandchildren, Zoey and Caylee; brothers, Daniel Ross, Timothy (Joy) Ross, Charles Ross; sister-in-law, Donna Ross; many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends. In addition to her parents, William and Mary Ross, Mary was preceded in death by her significant other, ML “Mike” Pray; brother, William Ross.
