Born in Flint, MI on January 3, 1992, son of Aniello “Neal” Romano and the late Benedetta “Bina” (Anselmo) Romano, Roberto’s life was a story that deserved so many more chapters. He was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 2010. Roberto became a contractor and worked on several houses in the area for many years.
Although his time here was far too short, the love he inspired and the memories he leaves behind will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Roberto was also a great father to his two sons, Leonardo and Benson, who meant the world to him. He would do anything for his family. The true measure of a life is not found in the number of years we are given, but in the love, we share, the memories we create, and the ways we touch the lives of others.
While saying goodbye is never easy, saying goodbye too soon leaves a heartache that words can never fully express. Roberto’s story does not end with his passing. It continues through the memories shared, the stories told, the laughter remembered, and the love that will never fade. He loved attending concerts and sporting events, embracing every opportunity to enjoy life and share special moments with those around him. Deeply proud of his Italian heritage, Roberto carried his roots close to his heart, honoring the traditions and values that helped shape who he was. He also enjoyed snowboarding and skateboarding, always appreciating the excitement of trying something he loved. A passion for cooking and grilling brought him happiness, especially when preparing ribs, pasta, and steak to share with family and friends. Whether gathered around the grill, enjoying a favorite concert, or cheering at a sporting event, Roberto understood the importance of making memories with the people who mattered most. His love for his family, pride in his heritage, and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures will forever remain a meaningful part of his legacy.
As family and friends mourn this heartbreaking loss, may they find comfort in knowing that love does not end when a life does. Those we hold closest to our hearts never truly leave us. They remain a part of who we are, carried with us through every tomorrow. Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered. Rest peacefully, Roberto. Your time here was far too short, but your memory will last a lifetime.
Roberto is survived by 2 sons, Leonardo “Leo” Romano and Benson Hall; father, Aniello “Neal” Romano; brother, Giovanni (Gabrielle) Romano; nieces and nephews, Aria Romano, Axel Romano, Elijah Gillett and Eden Gillett; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Benedetta “Bina” Romano; many aunts and uncles.
