YENIOR, Cynthia Ann (Karczewski) – of Davison, MI, age 68, passed away peacefully and met her Lord Jesus on April 18, 2024, at Ascension Genesys Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 PM Monday, April 22, 2024, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Cremation will take place following the Mass. The family will receive visitors 2-7 PM, Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, and a Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Andy’s Attic.
Cynthia was born in Hamtramck, MI on April 25, 1955, daughter of Henry and Joann Karczewski. She started high school at St. Florian in Hamtramck, then the family moved to Arenac County. Cindy finished at Standish-Sterling High School where she met her high school sweetheart and future husband, Keith Yenior. She earned an associate degree from Northwood Institute in Midland, and graduated Magna Sum Laude. Cindy worked in the accounting field, and her last job was in the Kearsley School District Administration Office. She married Keith Yenior on June 21, 1975, and they had three beautiful children: Angie, Kristin, and Brett.
After retirement, Cindy and Keith loved spending time with their grandchildren, and they loved to travel. Their travels took them to Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, St. Martin Island, Mexico, and Italy. They met many new friends along the way. In 2023, Cindy traveled to Poland with close friends, to the home of her ancestors, embracing the culture and polish food.
Cindy was blessed with many talents, including sketching, painting, sewing, and crafting. She loved art. Cindy enjoyed going to the theater and Motown Music. After retirement she embraced volunteer work and spent many hours at St. John Catholic Church in Davison Andy’s Attic and Catholic Charities.
Cynthia is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Keith; her three children, Angela Kay (Eric) Brown, Kristin Leah Yenior (Ashley Robinson), and Brett Joseph (Leah) Yenior; grandchildren, Lucas, Lila, Mera; siblings, Karen (Kelly) King, David Karczewski, Lisa (David) Wanless; many nieces and nephews, and family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Renee Karczewski.
