CARTO, Travis E. – of Clarkston, age 32, passed away on April 10, 2024. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 PM Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Cremation will take place following the Mass. The family will receive visitors 2-7 PM Monday, April 15, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 PM on Monday at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Flint Junior Golf Association or the GFHA Youth Hockey Crystal Field House of Burton, in Travis’ memory.
Travis was born in Flint, MI on February 16, 1992, son of Bryan (Erica) Carto and Kimberly (Ryan) Kaufman. Travis dedicated his professional life to the automotive industry, where he excelled with a combination of skill, precision, and a tireless work ethic. Beyond the confines of the workplace, Travis found solace and joy in the beautiful games of hockey and golf. Whether gliding effortlessly across the ice or navigating the rolling greens, he reveled in the camaraderie of competition and the simple pleasures of being outdoors. As a proud member of both Davison Country Club and Flint Golf Club, Travis found a second home among fellow enthusiasts, where friendships flourished and memories were made on the fairways and rinks alike.
Travis is survived by his parents, Bryan (Erica) Carto and Kimberly (Ryan) Kaufman; sister, Kayla Carto; grandparents, Warren Carto, Ernest Lee and Melanie Masters; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandma, Mary Jane Carto.
Travis will be deeply missed by his loving family and countless friends, who will forever remember his infectious laughter, unwavering kindness, and boundless passion for life.
