Vincent Adamski

ADAMSKI, Vincent Harold – of Davison, MI, age 95, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, June 21, 2024 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 6340 Roberta Street, Burton, MI 48509; Rev. Fr. Carl Simon celebrant. Interment, with Military Honors, immediately following the Mass in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10 AM until the time of Mass on Friday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 PM on Thursday at Allen Funeral Home. Immediately following the Rosary, there will be a Memorial Service under the auspices of the Davison Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree Council #4090 and 4th Degree Assembly #0523. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Society of St. Vincent De Paul, in Vincent’s memory.  

 

Vincent was born in Saginaw, MI on September 9, 1928, son of the late Vincent and Florence (Jozwiak) Adamski. He proudly served his country as a Corporal in the U.S. Army from 1951-1952. On April 23, 1955, Vincent married Geraldine Kukla in Bay City, MI. They were married for 57 years until Geraldine’s passing on October 27, 2012. Vincent retired from Country Fresh Dairy after more than 40 years of service. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Vincent enjoyed working at all church community events such as BINGO, spaghetti dinners, Euchre clubs, and the food bank.  He was a member of the Men’s Club, and was a 4th Degree K of C member.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 

 

Vincent is survived by 3 daughters, Kathleen Adamski, Cynthia Gunnels and Linda (Ken) Fall; 7 grandchildren, Meredith (Alan) Ebert, Tara (Casey) Hayes, Bradley Dinnan, Kathryn (Don) Morgan, Christopher Jesme, Carrie Fall and Scott (Nichole) Fall; 13 great-grandchildren, Danielle, Bailey, Olivia, Alecis, Aiden, Ian, Chyanne, Brooklyn, Madison, Gavin, Damion, Mariah and Sofiah; sister, Shirley Bitters; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Adamski; mother, Florence (Leon) Winiecki; wife, Geraldine Adamski.
