William Henry

William Donald Nicholas Henry, 41, Davison was called Home to be with Jesus Thursday May 9, 2024. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 2:00 pm Thursday May 23, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison, Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski Celebrant. Family will receive friends 12:30 pm, with a parish rosary being prayed at 1:00 pm. Inurnment will be held at St. John Cemetery immediately following the Mass. Those desiring may make contributions in William’s memory to his children, care of William & Diane Henry.

Will was born in Flint Michigan on October 23, 1982 the son of William and Diane (Pokrak) Henry and has resided in the Davison area his entire life. He was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 2001. Will proudly continued his education graduating from the University of Michigan-Flint with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management. Will was highly talented in all sports including skiing, swimming and football, however, loved baseball, a sport he excelled in as a high school pitcher for the Davison Cardinals and securing a partial college scholarship for his efforts. He also received high honors for his proficiency on NATEF Brake Systems and Suspension Systems. Will was an avid golfer and appreciated winning rounds together with his father on league days. Will was one of the youngest appointed Eucharistic Ministers at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Flint, while attending high school. Will was currently a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and was grateful for receiving the sacraments and the relationships of strength and love they brought to him. Will was knowledgeable in most building trades, lawn care, and was a Michigan Certified Pesticide application agent as he repaired and flipped houses. He was especially proud to be a civilian Project Manager for Lapeer Industries working with the United States Government protecting our soldiers with quality equipment building during the Afghanistan War. He continued in his protection efforts as a security guard.

Will’s greatest creation on this earth was his children, as he believed “Love is the most beautiful gift we are given to share.” He is survived by them; Lilly Marie Henry, and his twins Alexander John Henry, and Isabella Denise Henry & their mother Cari Lyn Cassiday. He leaves his parents William and Diane Henry; siblings, Nicole Diane (Randall) Collick and Autumn Anne (Mark) Campbell; his loving nephews and nieces are, Nicholas Collick (also proudly, Will’s Godson); Brooke Collick; Dillon Collick; Sydney Collick and Asher Campbell.
