Lynn Gray

Lynn Gray, 65, went to be with her Lord on February 15, 2024. She entered eternal rest at her home surrounded by her family after a short but hard-fought battle with cancer. Lynn is survived by her husband, Mark; her children, Sean (Christine and her only grandchild Harper), Erin Brown (Justin); her brother, Gary Steele (Colleen); niece Lisa Kamischke (Mick), and several other family members. Lynn was born in Flint, Michigan on February 21, 1958. She attended Flint Southwestern High School, and was a gymnast from a young age. After graduation she worked at GM where she met her husband, Mark. In the following years she worked as a registered respiratory therapist doing patient care, and then went on to attend the University of Michigan-Flint obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration. She worked for over 30 years at Genesys in Grand Blanc Michigan as a multi-disciplinary regional director. She was a faithful servant of the Lord, doing his work and mentoring her many employees over the years. In 2018 she retired to care for her mother. In her free time, she loved spending time with her family. She and her husband Mark were Harley-Davidson riders and would often ride the Blue Ridge Parkway in Tennessee with friends. In 2021 Lynn and Mark moved to Knoxville, Tennessee to be with their children. She loved the abundant Tennessee sunshine, the beautiful landscape of the Smoky Mountains, and her loyal companion Kody. She had the most generous and kind soul. She will be missed dearly by all who loved her. Visitation will be at Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 2-4PM and 6-8 PM. A Memorial Mass in her honor will be held at All Saints Catholic Church in Knoxville, TN on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 1:30 PM. A memorial service in her honor will be held in Davison, Michigan at a later date. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.mynattfh.com
